The PALS provider course is designed for the healthcare provider who manages cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) respiratory and cardiovascular emergencies in pediatric patients. This is done by enhancing the recognition of and intervention for respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest care. This course will provide the students with the tools to identify and trend problems that place the child at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest. This is done by applying the systematic approach and using the PALS algorithmic. After completion of this course, one can effectively and successfully perform your role as a high-performance team member.
